Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov participated in the "Car-Free Day" campaign

Initiatives aimed at improving the environment and promoting a healthy lifestyle continue consistently in Uzbekistan. In particular, the "Car-Free Day" campaign, introduced as part of the nationwide "Clean Air" project, is gaining momentum.
According to this initiative, based on the Presidential decree dated March 25, 2026, it is established that starting from May 1, "Car-Free Day" will be held on the 10th and 25th of each month, along with special weekly events. This project is considered an important step towards protecting the environment and improving air quality.
On May 25, Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov also actively participated in this campaign. Together with his ministry team, he supported the initiative in practice by refraining from using cars.
Experts note that such campaigns are important for reducing harmful gas emissions from vehicles, protecting public health, and increasing ecological culture. It also serves to shape a healthy lifestyle in society.
The "Car-Free Day" initiative is supported not only by officials but also by the general public.
