Sam Altman: Artificial Intelligence has not led to job losses

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman emphasized that the rapid development and implementation of artificial intelligence will not cause mass job losses on a global scale. According to him, this technology has not had as negative an impact on office workers as he had feared. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
Speaking at a Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) conference in Sydney, Altman admitted that he was initially concerned about the impact of AI on employment levels. He stated that when ChatGPT was launched in 2022, OpenAI leadership was correct regarding technological forecasts but mistaken about the social and economic consequences.
“I am glad I was wrong. I thought that by now, the reduction in entry-level jobs would have a greater impact than it actually has. I think I understand better now why that didn't happen, and I am grateful for it,” said Sam Altman.
OpenAI is a leading American research company in the field of artificial intelligence, which created the popular ChatGPT chatbot. The company develops advanced neural networks such as the GPT model family, the DALL-E image generator, and the Sora video generator.
