
Uzbekistan's national team continues its successful participation in the Islamic Solidarity Games taking place in Riyadh. The Greco-Roman wrestling athletes have added three medals to the nation's tally.
Today in the final match, Alisher G‘aniyev secured a gold medal by defeating his Turkish opponent. This victory marked a significant achievement in the current competition program for the national team.
In the 67-kg weight category, Aytyon Khalmakhonov won a bronze medal by overcoming a Qatari athlete in the third-place match. He maintained full control throughout the bout, securing a favorable result.
Later in the day, in the 77-kg weight category, Abdullo Aliyev defeated an Azerbaijani competitor in the bronze medal match. This victory placed him among the medalists and reinforced the national team's successful day.
