Khusanov "jumped" in the Transfermarkt rating: he reached 35 million euros

Transfermarkt, one of the most influential sources on the transfer market, published a ranking of the most expensive players from the post-Soviet region at the end of 2025. At the top of the list is the defender of the Uzbekistan national team and "Manchester City" Abdukodir Khusanov.
According to the rating, the transfer value of the 21-year-old footballer increased to a record level over the past year: Khusanov "added" 23 million euros to his value, bringing his total value to 35 million euros. With this result, he was also recognized as the most valuable player in Central Asia.
Russian national team midfielder Matvey Kislyak took second place. The player, who plays for CSKA, increased in value by €18.8 million within a year and is now valued at €20 million. Another Russian midfielder, Lokomotiv player Alexey Batrakov, rounded out the top three: his value has increased by €17 million, now set at €25 million.
The top ten according to Transfermarkt is as follows:
- Abdukodir Khusanov (Manchester City) - €35 million (+€23 million)
- Matvey Kislyak (CSKA) - €20 million (+€18.8 million)
- Alexey Batrakov (Lokomotiv) - €25 million (+€17 million)
- Yegor Yarmolik (Brentford) - €25 million (+€13 million)
- Ilya Zabarny (PSG) - €50 million (+€12 million)
- George Mikautadze (Villarreal) - €28 million (+€10 million)
- Danil Glebov (CSKA) - €8 million (+€7.3 million)
- Stanislav Agkatsev (Krasnodar) - €10 million (+€6.5 million)
- Arseniy Batagov (Trabzonspor) - €9 million (+€6.2 million)
- Oleg Ocheretko (Shakhtar Donetsk) - €6 million (+€5.2 million)
Why did Khusanov's price skyrocket so quickly?
This sharp growth is, naturally, related to Abdukodir's rise to the big stage. As a reminder, on January 20, 2025, Manchester City paid €40 million to acquire the Uzbek defender from the French club Lens. At that time, Husanov's value on Transfermarkt was 12 million euros. Less than a year later, it reached 35 million euros - a big signal not only for personal growth, but also for Uzbek football.
In short, Abdukodir is now a leader not only on the field but also in the transfer "card." Now the most exciting part lies ahead: a consistent playing style at City, experience in big games, and consistent practice can elevate Khusanov's reputation. And the fans expect one thing: behind these numbers, even stronger games and even bigger victories.
