Earthquake in Tajikistan was also felt in regions of Uzbekistan

On January 9 at 02:14, an earthquake was recorded in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan. According to the Republican Center for Seismoprognostic Monitoring, the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.3.
The epicenter of the tremors was located 477 kilometers southeast of Tashkent, in the Gorno-Badakhshan region of Tajikistan. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 139 kilometers.
It is reported that the tremors were also felt in some regions of Uzbekistan. In particular, the intensity reached 2–3 points in the Fergana region, and around 2 points in the Andijan and Namangan regions. There is currently no information about casualties or damage.
