In the 16th round of the Bundesliga, Bayern confidently defeated Wolfsburg in Munich — 8:1. Vincent Kompany’s side controlled the match throughout and seized the initiative from the opening minutes. This was reported by kursiv.uz. reports .
The scoring opened quickly: an own goal by the visitors’ defender set the tone. However, Wolfsburg responded soon after — a precise strike from Jenan Pejčinović made it 1–1. Then the Munich side raised the tempo, and before the break Luis Díaz put Bayern back in front.
In the second half, the hosts’ superiority became absolute. Michael Olise scored a brace, while Harry Kane found the net and also provided an assist in another moment. Rafael Guerreiro and Leon Goretzka got on the scoresheet as well. On top of that, Wolfsburg scored another own goal.
The visitors failed to intensify the contest: they mostly relied on defending, while Bayern maintained complete control on the pitch.
