South Korea beat Lebanon to go top of Group С

The AFC U23 Asian Cup matches hosted by Saudi Arabia are ongoing. In the second round of Group С, South Korea defeated Lebanon 4–2.

South Korea’s goals were scored by Lee Hyun-Young (20’), Jeong Jae-Sang (56’), Kang Seong-Jin (71’) and Kim Tae-Won (76’), while Lebanon scored through Leonardo Farah Shahin (13’) and Ali El-Fadl (49’).

With this win, the Koreans collected 4 points and moved to the top of the group, overtaking Uzbekistan on 3 points. South Korea are progressing well toward their ambitious goals, while Lebanon, despite a strong effort, could not secure victory.
