Real Madrid presidential candidate signs two stars

Enrique Riquelme has announced he will be a serious challenger to Florentino Pérez in the race for the Real Madrid presidency. The candidate promised to bring two world-class stars to the team if he wins the election. In an interview with the Spanish newspaper ABC, Riquelme stated: "We have already signed two international stars." This is reported by Goal.com .
Riquelme noted that this is not just a verbal agreement, but a legally binding document. According to him, these players are crucial for the club's short, medium, and long-term sporting project. The candidate has not yet revealed the names of the stars, but hinted that all details will be known within the next two weeks.
Riquelme also sharply criticized the club's current management system. In his view, Real Madrid has lost its historical DNA, values, and professionalism. The candidate stated that there is no order in the club's hierarchy and that the leadership has lost sight of what Real Madrid represents.
Regarding the coaching situation, Riquelme ruled out the return of José Mourinho, but expressed that he considers the decision regarding Xabi Alonso a mistake. He believes that Alonso, who achieved historic results with Leverkusen, was not given enough time and authority. Riquelme added that Madrid fans are unhappy with such instability at the club.
