Certification of new Boeing 737 aircraft is over 80 percent complete

Boeing plans to increase production of its 737 family aircraft from 42 to 47 per month in the coming months. This was announced by CEO Kelly Ortberg following negotiations with the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). According to Ixbt.com reports .
According to Ortberg, the aviation giant has already begun efforts to transition to the new production level. At the same time, it was reported that the Boeing 737-10 and 737-7 models are in the final stages of certification.
The company clarified that the test program for these aircraft is currently more than 80 percent complete, indicating that the new airliners will soon be commissioned.
As a reminder, in March of this year, Boeing warned of delays in delivering some 737 MAX airliners due to production defects. Now, the company is focusing on resolving these issues and increasing the pace.
