No Uzbek citizens injured in Bangkok train-bus collision

On May 16, a tragic traffic accident involving a freight train and a passenger bus occurred in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. According to official reports, the collision resulted in eight deaths and left 33 people with various injuries. This is reported by Uzdaily.uz .

As of May 17, 15 of the injured have been discharged from the hospital, while the remaining 18 continue to receive medical treatment. Initial investigation results indicate that two of the deceased were Thai citizens.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, citing information from the forensic department of the Police General Hospital in Bangkok, stated that there are no Uzbek citizens among the victims. The country's diplomatic missions in Thailand are monitoring the situation and working in close contact with local authorities.
