Presidents of Uzbekistan and Serbia met in Baku

On the sidelines of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum in Baku, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić. This is reported by Uzdaily.uz .

The parties discussed topical issues of developing multifaceted Uzbekistan-Serbia relations. During the conversation, special attention was paid to the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.

The meeting addressed issues of increasing trade volume and developing cooperation programs in mechanical engineering, processing, chemical and electrical industries, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and tourism.

The importance of expanding humanitarian cooperation, in particular, holding the first forum of rectors and mutual cinema and culture days, was also emphasized. The leaders exchanged views on international agenda issues and discussed the schedule of upcoming high-level events.
