Director Denis Villeneuve has completed filming for the third installment of the "Dune" trilogy. The plot of the film is based on Frank Herbert's works "Dune Messiah" and "Children of Dune."
According to "World of Reel," the leading roles are performed by Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, and other actors. The third film also introduces technical changes: while the previous two films were shot in digital format, this time it was recorded on film.
This decision was proposed by Linus Sandgren, the cinematographer of "La La Land," who replaced Greig Fraser. It has been revealed that Villeneuve emphasized a more natural aesthetic for the final part of the trilogy.
The director also announced that he does not plan to continue the "Dune" films and will now focus on a project related to James Bond. The global premiere of the science-fiction film is scheduled for December next year.
On the same day, the movie "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" is also set to be released. "Dune" is a science-fiction universe created by Frank Herbert.
The story takes place in a distant future where powerful dynasties battle for control over the desert planet Arrakis, the sole source of the spice melange. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
