The national film presentation “Oltin Humo”, which has been traditionally held since 2019, has become an important event for Uzbek cinematography this year. At the ceremony, master artists who have contributed to the development of cinema and the films and creators recognized as the best throughout the year were duly awarded.
First, special awards were presented “For their contribution to the development of Uzbek cinematography”. This recognition was awarded to:
- People's Artist of Uzbekistan Gulchehra Jamilova,
- film composer Mirhalil Mahmudov,
- art critic, professor Sabohat Hayitmatova,
- “Shuhrat” medal winner, make-up artist Bakhtiyor Temirov.
After that, the winners in the nominations of “Oltin Humo – 2025” were announced. Jahongir Ahmedov's film "Oq oltin balosi" was named the best documentary. In the animation category, the film "Aqlli kizaloq" and its author Azizbek Muhammedov won.
Strong work was also recognized in the technical and creative categories. The film "Bahorni kuvib" was highly praised for its sound direction and screenplay. In the acting category, Yulduz Rajabova and Ulugbek Muhammadkarimov were awarded for their best roles.
At the end of the presentation, the film "Makhtumkuli firogiy" was recognized as the best film of the year. Thus, "Oltin Humo - 2025" was remembered as a bright evening that was a celebration of creativity, hard work and professional approach in Uzbek cinema.
