Luca Zidane says playing at the Africa Cup is an honor

Luca, the son of legendary footballer Zinedine Zidane, shared his thoughts on taking part in the Africa Cup of Nations. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

As a goalkeeper, he is featuring in the tournament for the Algeria national team. Zidane’s team beat Sudan 3–0 in their opening match.

“We’re preparing for the match against Burkina Faso. The training session went well, and we know the opponent is a strong team too. For me, playing at the Africa Cup is a great honor,” RMC Sport quotes Luca Zidane as saying.

Algeria are currently top of their group. The match against Burkina Faso kicks off today, December 28, at 22:30 (Tashkent time).
