Cleaning continues in the Pentagon: two more generals were dismissed

The wave of major changes in the US defense system has not stopped. While the Pentagon is in the process of reviewing personnel policy, two more high-ranking military officials have been dismissed. This was reported by one of the authoritative sources - the Washington Post.
It is reported that, according to the decision made by US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, two generals who held important positions in the army have left their posts. One of them is General David M. Houden, who was responsible for the modernization of the army and the training of soldiers. He played an important role in shaping the future strategy of the army.
The second official is William Green Jr., who served as the army's chaplain. He was actively involved in providing moral support and mental stability among the military.
These decisions are considered a continuation of a large-scale "cleansing" in the Pentagon. The new leadership is making significant changes in senior positions in order to increase efficiency, strengthen management and implement new strategies in the army.
It is noted that since Pete Hegseth took office, the number of high-ranking commanders removed from their posts has reached 12. This is considered one of the largest personnel changes in the US military system.
According to experts, such drastic decisions are being made to strengthen discipline within the army and adapt to the requirements of the new era. However, some analysts do not exclude that this process may also be associated with internal pressure and political factors.
In any case, these changes in the Pentagon may still continue. Therefore, it is possible that in the near future there will be news about new resignations and appointments.
