The Portuguese star refused to participate in the silver medal ceremony after the final whistle and headed straight to the dressing room, according to Goal.com reports.
The match was decided by a single goal from Deniz Hummet in the 29th minute. Despite being considered favorites on home soil, Al-Nassr failed to secure the continental trophy. Ronaldo left the pitch visibly frustrated after missing several clear opportunities during the game.
This defeat is a heavy blow for the team, as just a few days earlier, Al-Nassr drew against Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, missing the chance to clinch the title early. In that match, a mistake by goalkeeper Bento prevented the team from winning.
Head coach Jorge Jesus is trying to restore the team's morale. Al-Nassr currently leads the Saudi Pro League table, and the title will be decided in the final round against Damac FC.
