According to our weekly analysis of exchange rates published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during the next working week of November 2025, the US dollar depreciated by 2.3 soums against the national currency.
Weekly dynamics
The dollar-to-soum exchange rate experienced certain fluctuations throughout the week. In particular, a significant decrease was observed in the first half of the week:
Monday: –20.13 soums
Tuesday: –32.75 soums
Wednesday: –21.71 soums
This downward trend may be related to international market dynamics, changes in import-export operations, and shifts in domestic demand.
In the second half of the week, the rate increased:
Thursday: +20.14 soums
Friday: +52.25 soums
As a result, the overall weekly change of the US dollar turned out to be favorable for the national currency, ending with a 2.3-soum decrease.
The Central Bank forms exchange rates based on market mechanisms and strives to maintain stability in economic processes. Such exchange rate fluctuations are seen as indicators of the global economic environment, external trade volume, and the level of domestic economic activity.
