
Between January and October 2025, tax revenues collected in Uzbekistan's budget increased by 17.4 percent year-on-year. This was reported in business activity statistics published by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms.
The most significant growth in tax revenues was recorded in Navoi, Tashkent, and Syrdarya regions, as well as in the capital city, with an average growth rate of 40 percent. Additionally, customs duties in the country also increased by 20 percent year-on-year.
The largest growth in this area was observed in Syrdarya region (81 percent) and Karakalpakstan (43 percent). The Center also highlighted foreign trade indicators, which saw a 14.3 percent increase over the year.
Surkhandarya (80 percent) and Samarkand (39 percent) regions led in export performance. Meanwhile, stock market activity in Uzbekistan grew by 23.4 percent year-on-year.
