Elite potatoes delivered to Uzbekistan from the Netherlands

6,000 tons of elite seed potatoes have been delivered from the Netherlands to Tashkent, UzDaily reported.

This delivery is considered significant for the development of seed production and strengthening Uzbekistan's food security. The potatoes will be distributed among farming enterprises.

The initiative is expected to help reduce the production cost of locally grown potatoes. The potatoes imported from the Netherlands are also intended for use during the spring planting season of 2026.
