Known for her roles in music videos and widely recognized after the film “Uzbek Qizi,” Karakalpakstan-born actress Aysenem Yusupova celebrated turning 29 on January 2.
According to Aysenem, she first became interested in art through singing — a path encouraged by her mother’s dream and support. Later, she entered an arts university in Tashkent and, successfully passing the exams on her second attempt, chose the acting path.
It is noted that the initiative of her late mentor Jura Mahmudov played an important role in her entry into cinema: even in her first year, he supported Aysenem at castings. One of her first major offers was the film “Hayot,” directed by Hilol Nasimov.
Aysenem also spoke about one of her biggest tests — the film “Uzbek Qizi.” She does not hide that the film was difficult both physically and emotionally, with preparation, multiple takes, and injuries. At the same time, this project is marked as a special stage in her career.
Aysenem says her main goal in acting is to leave the people useful, memorable works through good roles.
