The events in Sirdaryo and Tashkent attracted public attention. Lieutenant Colonel Sherzod Pardaev, who held a responsible position in the internal affairs system, was dismissed from his post. This decision was made due to the possible misuse of official powers related to his brother. At a critical meeting in the Sirdaryo regional police under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Diyorbek Sattarov, the irresponsibility of some senior officers was also sharply discussed.
The incident that occurred on the evening of March 30 in Yashnobod district drew the attention of the entire city. Malibu and Leapmotor cars collided, and a conflict arose between the drivers. Then the Leapmotor driver called number 102 and reported that the Malibu driver had caused an accident and was behaving rudely.
Road patrol officers arrived at the scene and began inspecting both sides. 36-year-old Bobur Pardaev, who was driving under the influence, punched one of the officers. In a video circulating on social networks, it is shown that he hit the internal affairs officer with his elbow, and his brother tried to intervene in the situation.
Currently, Bobur Pardaev has been detained in a procedural manner, and a criminal case has been initiated. The Tashkent city court upheld the first-instance decision regarding his detention. The appeal was also denied, and the accused was taken into custody.
At the end of the meeting, the leaders were given clear instructions to strengthen discipline and ensure the rule of law. This incident showed not only the need to punish the accused but also the importance of responsibility and oversight in the internal affairs system.
