A tragic incident that occurred in one of the largest construction markets in our capital is in the spotlight on social networks. Zamin.uz provides details of the situation.
Today, April 5th, around 4:30 PM, video reports circulated about a strong fire at the "Beshqo'rg'on" market in the Chilanzar district. Currently, footage from the scene shows that the situation is quite serious.
Black smoke covering the city sky
In the photos circulating on social networks, you can see a huge, black column of smoke rising from the market area. This smoke is clearly visible even from distant parts of our capital, causing concern among the population.
Shops on fire
Footage from the scene shows:
- The fire has engulfed a number of shops in the shopping mall.
- The fire has spread rapidly through the interior and roof of the buildings.
- Heavy smoke and open flames are clearly visible in the footage captured by witnesses.
Is the situation under control?
So far, the Ministry of Emergency Situations has not provided official information about the cause of the fire and the number of victims. The footage shows that the relevant services have been mobilized to extinguish the fire.
