Riyadh 2025: Uzbekistan National Team Secures Bronze Again


On November 12, 2025, at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan's weightlifting team continued to expand their medal tally. Competing in the over 86 kg weight category, Tursunoy Jabborova secured three bronze medals.

She lifted 116 kg in the snatch and 138 kg in the clean and jerk. Her total combined result of 254 kg earned her bronze medals in all three disciplines.

Additionally, in the over 110 kg weight category, Sharofiddin Amriddinov contributed another medal to the national team by claiming third place in the snatch with a lift of 188 kg.

On this day, the Uzbekistan weightlifting team won a total of four bronze medals in the competitions.
