President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has gifted a three-room apartment to Javokhir Sindarov, the chess world champion. This decision was made in recognition of Sindarov's victory at the World Cup and his significant contribution to the development of chess in Uzbekistan.
Additionally, the athlete's coaches will also be rewarded with financial prizes. A decree signed by the head of state has conferred the honorary title of "Honored Athlete of the Republic of Uzbekistan" upon Javokhir Sindarov.
According to the presidential press service, this prestigious award recognizes Sindarov's skill, determination, and patriotism, while also acknowledging his role in strengthening the reputation of New Uzbekistan on the international stage and promoting chess among the youth.
