On December 13, 2025, in the final of the IBA World Championship, Hasanboy Dusmatov, competing in the 51 kg weight category, defeated Russian boxer Bayir Batlayev. The judges, though not unanimous, awarded victory to our representative with a score of 4:1.
Throughout the bout, Dusmatov controlled the tempo, skillfully worked at range, and performed confidently in defense. The Russian opponent tried to resist, but Hasanboy’s dominance was clearly evident throughout the match.
As a result, this marked another significant triumph and one of the standout achievements in our representative’s career. Thus, Hasanboy Dusmatov secured the gold medal, becoming a two-time world champion.
He once again solidified his status as one of the world's top boxers in his weight class.
