Last-gasp strike: Newcastle snatch victory (video)

In the Premier League’s 21st round, Newcastle United and Leeds produced a stunning seven-goal thriller. The match ended 4–3 to the hosts, with Harvey Barnes scoring the winner in the 90th minute.
Leeds started boldly and aggressively. Aaronson opened the scoring by capitalising on a mistake in the opposition defence. Newcastle took some time to find their rhythm, but the pressure gradually paid off: Barnes finished a move clinically to restore parity.
On the brink of half-time, the visitors went ahead again. Calvert-Lewin converted the penalty confidently to put Leeds back in front.
In the second half, the Magpies upped the tempo sharply. Joelinton levelled with a header. Still, Aaronson struck on the counter to put Leeds ahead once more, and the game turned into an increasingly emotional end-to-end shootout.
In the 90th minute of normal time, the referee awarded a penalty to Newcastle. Bruno Guimarães calmly converted to make it level again. The hosts were not done: in the next attack, Harvey Barnes placed a precise shot into the corner to swing the win Newcastle’s way.
