The earthquake recorded in Tajikistan was felt in Uzbekistan

The earthquake recorded in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan was also felt in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring.
According to the information, an earthquake occurred in Tajikistan today - January 9 at 02:14. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 477 km southeast of Tashkent. The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.3, with a depth of 139 km. The epicenter corresponds to the mountainous Badakhshan region of Tajikistan. Coordinates: 38.39 degrees north latitude and 73.37 degrees east longitude.
Experts note that the intensity of this earthquake in the territory of Uzbekistan was:
- 2-3 points in the Fergana region (approximately 260 km);
- Andijan region - 2 points (285 km);
- Namangan region: 2 points (325 km).
It should be recalled that earlier it was reported that the earthquake that occurred in Kyrgyzstan was also felt on the territory of Uzbekistan.
