Xaykin describes victory over Man City as historic for Norwegian sport

Nikita Xaykin, the goalkeeper of Norway's 'Bude-Glimt' team, shared his thoughts on the recent victory over 'Manchester City'. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

In the 7th round of the Champions League group stage, the Norwegians triumphed with a score of 3:1.

"Even after the game, we probably didn't immediately realize that we had defeated one of the strongest systems in the 21st-century football industry. This match went down in history not only for us but also for Norwegians and Norwegian sport in general," Xaykin said on the 'VideoSports' program.

The goalkeeper also emphasized that this result is one of the most important victories in his career.

Currently, 'Bude-Glimt' is in 28th place in the Champions League standings with 6 points.
