The 24th round of the Spanish championship ended in an unexpected scenario in the Catalan derby: Barcelona lost 1:2 to Girona away. At first glance, it seemed like a “simple defeat”, but the drama of the match — a penalty, a quick counter-goal and a decisive shot in the 87th minute — significantly shook the mood of the fans.
In the first half, Barca missed opportunities. In the extra minutes, Lamine Yamal failed to take advantage of a penalty — the ball hit the crossbar. This moment became the “turning point” that gradually turned the fate of the game in the other direction.
