The Uzbekistan Futsal Federation has announced a significant personnel change within its management structure. Rustam Zuparov, who previously served as the head of the department for working with national teams, has been relieved of his duties. The federation noted that his departure is due to a transition to a new job and wished him success in his future endeavors.
Taking over the leadership role is Dilshod Rakhmatov, a well-known figure in the country's futsal community. Rakhmatov brings extensive experience to the position, having served as an experienced player and the captain of the Uzbekistan national futsal team. Furthermore, he previously worked as the head coach of the Uzbekistan youth national team.
The press service of the Uzbekistan Futsal Federation confirmed the appointment, expressing confidence in Rakhmatov's ability to lead the department effectively. His deep understanding of the sport from both a player's and a coach's perspective is expected to contribute significantly to the development of the national teams.
