Kimera K-39: The New 986 HP Italian Hypercar

The Italian company Kimera has unveiled the K-39, its first independent hypercar project. The vehicle is equipped with a 986 hp V8 engine from Koenigsegg, standing out for its extreme performance. This is reported by Autocar.co.uk reports .
The design of the K-39 is inspired by the legendary Lancia Beta Montecarlo Group 5 race car. The new model retains the Y-shaped grille and quad headlights characteristic of its predecessors, the Evo37 and Evo38. An integrated S-duct for improved aerodynamics significantly increases downforce at high speeds.
Although the K-39 is designed for public roads, it was developed with a racing spirit. The company plans to test a special version in Martini Racing livery at the Pikes Peak hill climb. Only 10 units of this version will be produced, and they will also be road-legal.
The Koenigsegg engine has been adapted to Kimera's requirements, featuring smaller turbines to improve acceleration and handling. The vehicle also supports over-the-air software updates, allowing for potential power increases in the future. Currently, over 20 cars have already been allocated to customers.
