BMW Unveils New Concept Showcasing the Future of Alpina

At the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy, BMW showcased the new Vision Alpina concept, which defines the future direction of the Alpina brand. This 5.2-meter-long 2+2 coupe stands out with its sharp design and serves as an aesthetic foundation for the brand's next generation of vehicles. This is reported by Autocar.co.uk reports .
Although this concept is not intended for direct mass production, it signals the intention to position Alpina models in a premium segment above BMW's standard lineup but below the level of Rolls-Royce. After BMW fully acquired the brand from the Bovensiepen family, a new era in Alpina's history began.
The first production model, expected to be based on the BMW 7 Series, will be unveiled in 2027 and delivered to customers in early 2028. The design process was inspired by the legendary 1978 B7 Turbo, and the concept retains traditional elements such as multi-spoke wheels and four exhaust pipes.
In the new generation of vehicles, the brand's signature Deco Set lines will be hand-painted rather than applied as stickers. Additionally, chrome details referencing the BMW 507 are planned to be reflected in future Alpina models.
