In an interview with ESPN, the striker revealed that he watches every game of his former team and intends to wear the Palmeiras jersey again before his career ends. "I think about it every day. I watched yesterday's game too. I know for sure that I will return one day, I just can't say when," said the player.
For the Brazilian star, Palmeiras is not just a professional club, but a place tied to strong personal bonds. Since moving to England in 2017, he has not hidden his love for the team. Jesus emphasized that if he ever returns to the Brazilian league, his choice will be Palmeiras and only Palmeiras.
Gabriel Jesus is one of the brightest products of the Palmeiras academy.
