Mikel Arteta reveals how he found out Arsenal had become champions

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta shared an interesting story about where he was and how he received the news when his team won the Premier League title. The Londoners finally secured the gold medals after a 22-year drought, but the manager decided not to watch the decisive match. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
On the night Manchester City's draw with Bournemouth confirmed Arsenal as champions, Mikel Arteta chose to go home instead of staying with the players at the club's London Colney base. According to the coach, he couldn't handle the nerves 20 minutes before kickoff and headed to his family.
“It was one of the most incredible feelings I’ve ever had in my life. I was supposed to watch the game with the boys and the staff, but I couldn't find the strength. I wanted it to be a moment for the players to celebrate among themselves. I went home, started a barbecue in the garden, and didn't turn on the TV,” says Mikel Arteta.
The news of the victory was delivered to the coach by his son. “I was outside, and I could hear noises from the house. Suddenly, a miracle happened: my eldest son opened the garden door, ran over, hugged me, and shouted: ‘Dad, we are champions!’ It was a beautiful moment,” the coach recalls.
Arsenal last won the title in 2004 under Arsène Wenger during the 'Invincibles' season. After finishing second for three consecutive seasons, Mikel Arteta's team has finally returned to the pinnacle of English football. The coach emphasized that this victory is the result of several years of hard work by the team.
