70-year-old actress receives high award for the first time

May 15th was an unforgettable day for art lovers. On this day, the renowned actress Gulnora Rustamova celebrated her 70th birthday.
As is known, Gulnora Rustamova has worked fruitfully on the stage of the Muqimi Musical Drama Theater for over 30 years, creating dozens of unique characters. She won the hearts of the audience with roles such as Uvaysiy in the play "Nodirabegim", the Mother in "Aka-uka sovchilar", the Sister-in-law in "Kuyovlar konkursi", Princess Bayda in "Bobur", the Eldest Daughter-in-law in "Jaydari kelin", and O'zbekoyim in "Otabek va Kumush".
Furthermore, the actress became even more beloved by the public for her roles as Gulshan in the historical TV series "Mehrobdan chayon", the Mother in "Qaytar dunyo", and many other roles in series and novellas like "Talvasa".

On the occasion of her jubilee, the actress's many years of fruitful work were duly recognized. She was awarded the "Madaniyat va san'at fidokori" (Devotee of Culture and Art) badge by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov.
Notably, this award marks Gulnora Rustamova's first state recognition in the field of art. This was received as a doubly joyful and unforgettable gift for the actress.
