Serious Test Awaits Uzbekistan U-17 Team at the World Cup

The draw for the FIFA U-17 World Cup took place in Zurich, Switzerland. Following the event, which was highly anticipated by Uzbekistan football fans, our youth national team's opponents in the tournament were determined.
According to the draw, the Uzbekistan U-17 national team was placed in Group E. Our representatives will face Italy, Jamaica, and Ivory Coast in the group stage. At first glance, the group is not easy: it brings together football schools from Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, and Asia. This means our youth will test themselves against opponents with diverse styles.
The composition of Group E is as follows:
Italy
Jamaica
Ivory Coast
Uzbekistan
In youth football, Italy is known for tactical discipline, intelligent ball handling, and defensive organization. Jamaica can pose a threat with their speed, physical strength, and sharp attacks. Ivory Coast is also a team that relies on the athleticism, fighting spirit, and individual skill typical of African football.
For the Uzbekistan U-17 team, this group is a major test and a fantastic opportunity to showcase themselves on the world stage. In such competitions, young players play not only for results but also for their future careers. A few good games, strong character, and brilliant performances can completely change a player's destiny.
According to the draw results, all 48 teams in the tournament were divided into 12 groups. For example, Group A includes Qatar, Panama, Egypt, and Greece; Group B includes South Korea, CAF 1, New Caledonia, and Ecuador; Group C includes Argentina, Australia, CAF 2, and Denmark. Strong football nations such as France, Spain, Brazil, USA, Mexico, Japan, and Colombia will also participate in the World Cup.

This means the level of the tournament in Qatar will be very high. Uzbekistan's youth must think not only about advancing from the group but also about proving their potential against strong teams. At the World Cup, every match is like a final, as even a small mistake can affect the fate of the next round.
As a reminder, the FIFA U-17 World Cup will take place in Qatar from November 19 to December 13, 2026. In the tournament, 48 national teams divided into 12 groups will compete for the world championship title.
In short, the big stage is set for the Uzbekistan U-17 team. Matches against Italy, Jamaica, and Ivory Coast will require discipline, courage, and high mental preparation from our youth. The group is not easy, but there is a chance. Now everything depends on preparation, character, and composure on the pitch. Fans are waiting for one thing: for the name of Uzbekistan to ring out loudly in Qatar.
