Jorge Jesus named Saudi Pro League Manager of the Season

Following the conclusion of the Saudi Pro League season, Al-Nassr head coach Jorge Jesus has been named Manager of the Season. The Portuguese tactician became one of the campaign's key figures by leading the Riyadh club to a long-awaited title.

Under Jesus, Al-Nassr became Saudi champions for the first time since 2019. This victory was a major event for both the club and its fans, as previous seasons had been difficult despite the presence of big names and star players.

This time, Al-Nassr had a dominant season. The Riyadh club secured 28 wins, becoming the team with the most victories in the league. This figure shows that Jesus's side relied not just on stars, but on a stable system and a winning mentality.

Another impressive statistic for Al-Nassr was their 16-match winning streak. Such a result requires immense strength, discipline, and mental stability in any league. The team maintained their composure under pressure and dominated the title race.

Al-Nassr was also the most prolific side in attack, scoring 91 goals. Their goal difference of +63 was the best in the league, reflecting both their offensive power and defensive solidity.

Defensive stability also deserves special recognition. Along with Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr kept the most clean sheets in the league with 17. This proves that Jesus focused not only on attacking football but also on defensive organization and balance.

The Golden Boot went to Al-Qadsiah striker Julian Quinones, who scored 33 goals, edging out Al-Ahli forward Ivan Toney by a single goal. The race for the top scorer title remained intense until the final day.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who won the Golden Boot in the previous two seasons, finished with 28 goals this time. However, the Portuguese star's impact on the title run goes beyond goals; he played a vital role as captain, leader, and a player who takes responsibility in decisive moments.

The Golden Glove award was presented to Al-Ahli goalkeeper Edouard Mendy. Although he tied with Al-Hilal's Yassine Bounou with 14 clean sheets, Mendy won the award by conceding fewer goals (18 vs 20).

In short, the Saudi league season was highly productive, competitive, and star-studded. Jorge Jesus led Al-Nassr to the title with the league's best offensive and defensive records. This recognition is well-deserved for the Portuguese coach: he let his results do the talking.
