Operators in Uzbekistan offer simple voice tariffs

In Uzbekistan, it may be mandatory for mobile operators to offer separate tariffs that include only voice calls and SMS services. This was reported in a draft government resolution developed by the Ministry of Justice.

According to the draft, this requirement is planned to be included in the license conditions in the telecommunications sector. That is, operators will be required to provide users with simple and inexpensive voice packages in addition to tariffs related to Internet traffic.

Currently, most tariffs also include the Internet, which can lead to excessive costs for some subscribers and limit their choice. Simple voice tariffs, on the other hand, provide users with freedom of choice and financial savings.

Another important innovation within the framework of the project is the proposed ban on the use of numbers corresponding to the monthly payment amount in tariff names. This is done in order to prevent subscribers from being confused and to eliminate the difference between the tariff name and its actual price.

Thus, when the new rule comes into effect, simple, understandable and Internet-free tariffs will also be available to subscribers, which will make mobile communication services more convenient and transparent.
