$4000 without discrete graphics: AMD Ryzen AI Halo price revealed

AMD is preparing to launch a compact mini-PC based on the Ryzen AI Halo platform, and its price has finally been revealed. The 128 GB RAM variant will cost $4000. A 192 GB RAM version is also promised later, though it is expected to be even more expensive. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

This computer lacks discrete graphics, but it stands out for its powerful internal capabilities. The system belongs to the Strix Halo family and is equipped with a top-tier 16-core AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, integrated Radeon 8060S graphics, and an XDNA 2 NPU block with 50 TOPS performance.

GPU performance reaches up to 60 TFLOPS, allowing for local execution of large AI models with 200 billion parameters in an optimized state. The device is housed in a compact 150×150×43 mm chassis with a power consumption of around 120 W.

The mini-PC supports Windows and Linux operating systems. It is also equipped with modern interfaces like Wi-Fi 7 and 10 Gbit/s Ethernet. The Ryzen AI Halo device is expected to be an alternative to the NVIDIA DGX Spark system.

AMD aims to gain a market advantage through its x86 architecture, Windows ecosystem compatibility, and full ROCm stack support. Such technologies are designed for AI developers and engineers.
