11,800 trees planted around Tashkent
In the first phase of the project to surround Tashkent city with green areas, 11,800 trees were planted on 30 hectares of land. These efforts are being carried out under the "Green Space" initiative, according to the capital's administration.

A drip irrigation system has been installed to ensure the healthy growth of young trees, utilizing alternative energy sources and setting up a natural water reservoir. The planted trees include species such as willow, ash, sycamore, catalpa, tulip tree, oak, and others.

The city administration highlighted that these trees significantly contribute to air purification, reducing dust levels, and improving the microclimate.
