Will there be more holidays for 1st graders in February?

In Uzbekistan, 1st-grade students will be given an additional one-week vacation in February. This is stated in the regulation approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 140 of March 15, 2017.

According to the regulation, 1st-grade students will have an additional one-week vacation during February. The duration of holidays is determined by the decision of the pedagogical council of each school. That is, the exact week of vacation can be determined based on the internal order and decision of the school.

Recall that the winter holidays in schools began on December 28 of last year. Since Sunday, January 11, 2026, falls on a non-working day, classes in the third quarter will begin on January 12, 2026.
