Uzbek driver saves baby who crawled onto road in Moscow
Near the village of Stanovoye, Moscow Region, an Uzbek driver rescued an 11-month-old baby who had crawled onto the highway without outer clothing. Noticing the freezing, crying child, the driver immediately stopped, tried to warm him up, and called an ambulance and the police.

The rescuer took the baby into his car, wrapped him in a blanket, and turned on the stove to warm him up. A woman approached him and said she was the child's grandmother, but the driver did not hand over the baby until law enforcement officers and doctors arrived. Later, it turned out that this woman was indeed the child's relative.

Doctors diagnosed the baby with a first-degree frostbite and he is currently being treated as an outpatient. The driver was offered a reward by the child's parents, but he refused, saying that the money would be better spent on the baby's needs.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow region is investigating the incident.
