Israel announces mass evacuation and new attacks in Gaza
Military actions in the Gaza Strip are intensifying — the Israeli army has ordered the complete evacuation of several residential areas in the southern city of Khan Yunis, reports aa.com. Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced this on the social network X, publishing a special map marking “restricted zones” in red.

According to the map, residents of districts 36, 40, and 89 of Khan Yunis are being forced to leave their homes immediately. The Israeli army has warned that powerful military strikes will soon be launched on these areas and has called on local Palestinians to relocate to Deir al-Balah in northern Gaza.

In Adraee’s statement, it is said that those who do not evacuate may face mass attacks. This creates a serious threat and an atmosphere of uncertainty for the region’s civilians. Residents of Khan Yunis are currently unsure of where to go and under what conditions, feeling lost and disoriented.

Amid the new military operations, since October 7, 2023, at least 56,647 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip, and the number of wounded has exceeded 134,105. Only since the new wave of attacks after March 18, 6,315 Palestinians have died, and 22,064 have been injured.

Local and international observers are assessing these events as a humanitarian crisis and a total collapse of security for the population in Gaza. The new decision on evacuation and attacks may further exacerbate the situation in the region.

In the coming days, it remains to be seen how the situation in Gaza will develop and how the population and international organizations will respond to these measures. One thing is clear: in Khan Yunis and its surroundings, serious humanitarian problems lie ahead.
