Unstable and rainy weather expected in Uzbekistan in the new week

The last month of spring in our country continues to show its fickle and unstable character. According to forecasters, the new work week will see sharp changes in weather across the republic, with intermittent local rains and increasing winds. It is recommended not to forget your umbrella when planning to go out.
Temperature fluctuations and dust storms
Today, the daytime temperature will be quite warm — 30-35 degrees around. However, the heat will decrease in the coming days, and throughout the week the temperature will fluctuate between 25-28 and 30-32 degrees .
A warning for strong winds has also been issued. While wind speeds are usually 7-12 m/s, they may reach 13-18 m/s in some regions. Especially on May 18-19, wind speeds may increase up to 20-22 m/s and cause dust storms in some places.
Risk of floods in mountainous areas
We ask our fellow citizens living in or planning to visit foothill and mountainous zones to be vigilant. Precipitation will not cease in these areas throughout the week, with intermittent heavy downpours and thunderstorms possible. Such conditions pose a risk of flash floods and inundation in mountainous districts.
What will the weather be like in the capital during the week?
Tashkent is also expected to have a rather cool and rainy work week:
May 18 (Monday): Short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible towards the evening. Daytime temperatures will be +33...+35 degrees.
May 19 (Tuesday): Intermittent rain is expected at night and during the day. The temperature will drop significantly: +18...+20 at night, and around +25...+27 during the day.
May 20 (Wednesday): The driest day of the week. No precipitation is expected. The air will warm up again, rising to +30...+32 degrees during the day (+17...+19 at night).
May 21–22 (Thursday-Friday): Instability returns at the end of the work week. There is a possibility of intermittent short-term rain and lightning. Temperatures will be +15...+20 at night and +25...+30 degrees during the day.
