Earthquake in Tajikistan felt in southern Uzbekistan

A 4.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Tajikistan was also felt in the southern regions of Uzbekistan.

It is reported that the epicenter of the tremor was located in the Khatlon region of the neighboring republic, at a depth of 30 kilometers.

It is noted that the tremors were felt at an intensity of around 2 points in several districts of Uzbekistan.

Including:

— Uzun district: 2 points, 104 km.

— Denov district: 2 points, 112 km.

— Shurchi district: 2 points, 113 km.

— Sariosiyo district: 2 points, 115 km.

— Oltinsoy district: 2 points, 124 km.

Experts state that there have been no reports of casualties or damage resulting from the earthquake so far.
