Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced a new phase in the country's military strategy. He emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have significantly expanded the range of strikes on Russian territory.

The head of state made this statement after reviewing a report by Acting Head of the State Guard Service of Ukraine, Major General Yevhen Khmara. According to the report, Ukrainian forces now have the capability to strike targets located "more than 1,500 kilometers in a straight line."

According to Zelenskyy, such strikes are directed at clear strategic targets. In particular, they serve to limit the capabilities of Russia's military-industrial complex, supply networks and logistics, as well as its oil export potential. That is, the strikes are aimed not only at achieving military results, but also at increasing economic pressure.

The Ukrainian leader stressed that there is a clear message behind these actions. In his view, this situation demonstrates to Moscow the need to transition to negotiations and a diplomatic path. "It is time to return to diplomacy, and Moscow must hear this signal," Zelenskyy concluded.

This statement indicates a further escalation of the situation in the region. On one hand, the scale of military operations is expanding; on the other, political and diplomatic pressure is intensifying.

In brief, Ukraine is transitioning its strategy to a more active phase. The results of these decisions are expected to become more apparent in the near future.
