USA rejects Iran's peace initiative: tensions are rising

Another sharp turn has occurred in relations between the USA and Iran. According to the Tehran Times, Washington has rejected proposals put forward by Tehran to end the war.
It is reported that the Iranian side had developed a 14-point plan aimed at de-escalating the conflict and halting military operations. This document was submitted to the USA, and Tehran officials stated they had received a written response to it.
However, according to the source, the American side completely rejected these initiatives and did not change its firm stance, especially regarding Iran's nuclear program. It is noted that Washington remains in favor of continuing its policy of pressure.
Iranian officials emphasized that if these proposals had been approved, they were ready to move to the next stage of negotiations. At this stage, the parties planned to discuss not only military issues but also broader political and strategic directions, including problems related to the nuclear program.
Observers believe this decision once again demonstrates the low level of trust between the two countries. As a result, the geopolitical situation in the region may become even more complex, and the process of diplomatic negotiations may be prolonged.
