Trump's Visit: Items Given in China Thrown into Trash Bin

An unexpected and curious incident occurred during the US delegation's visit to China. Phones, badges, and various souvenirs provided to the delegation led by President Donald Trump and the journalists were confiscated and thrown into a trash bin before their departure. This was reported by Lenta.
It is reported that all devices and accessories provided by Chinese officials were collected before boarding the plane due to security requirements. This decision came as a surprise to the members of the delegation.
According to New York Post reporter Emily Goodin, Americans were not allowed to bring any items given in China onto Air Force One. All gifts were thrown into a trash container at the foot of the plane's stairs.
The journalist explained the situation as follows: "Everything we were given was collected and thrown away before boarding the plane."
The two-day visit with Xi Jinping concluded on May 15. During this trip, Trump stated that he discussed geopolitical issues surrounding Taiwan and Iran with the Chinese leader.
Trump also noted that China announced its readiness to invest hundreds of billions of dollars in US companies. Furthermore, it was noted that Beijing promised to limit the supply of military equipment to Iran.
This incident once again demonstrated how important security and diplomatic protocols are in international relations.
