The incident occurred on May 20. It is reported that the father was supposed to take his youngest daughter to kindergarten after dropping off his older child at school in the morning.
However, distracted by a phone call, he drove to work instead of the kindergarten, leaving the girl behind in the car.
Around 3:00 PM, when the mother arrived at the kindergarten to pick up her daughter, the teacher said the child had not been brought in that morning.
Realizing the situation, the parents called for an ambulance. The girl was taken to the hospital, but doctors declared her dead.
The city administration declared two days of mourning in memory of the girl.
