Uzbek Som Strengthens as Dollar Value Declines

On November 26, the exchange rate of the US dollar in Uzbekistan decreased by 51.43 som, settling at 11,936.89 som, according to the Central Bank.

The Russian ruble fell by 0.46 som, dropping to 151.56 som. Meanwhile, the euro declined by 53.33 som, reaching 13,769.20 som.

In addition, the Uzbek som strengthened against other currencies such as the British pound, Japanese yen, and Chinese yuan. Furthermore, exchange rates for 35 foreign currencies monitored by the country's Central Bank were also reduced.
